A while ago my friend Carly mentioned that she wanted to start a new hobby… possibly soap making she said. And i thought… well.. i know how to make soap. We bought all the necessary things a couple weeks ago but didnt actually get around to making any until today. It was a success! I don’t actually have pictures of soap though as it takes 4 weeks to cure, and at the moment it just looks like glop. But, since Carly insisted on buying all the necessary safty equiptment i give you now wonderful pictures of me posing with rubber gloves, and very worn safty googles.

So i decided to start knitting another sweater to replace the hole left in my heart from the disapointment of that purple one. I wanted to try and knit a raglan sweater from the top down so that i could try it on as i went along. Mind you, i have never knit a raglan sweater, and of course i couldnt really find a pattern that i liked. Ok, so i didn’t really look for one, but i figured i could try this one out on my own. So far so good…. just gotta figure out the decreases for the side shapping and i should be fine! well until i get to the sleeves that is.
