I’ve said before that i don’t like to eat seafood. It is true that it makes me ill, the thought of eating it makes me ill. But having said that.. i love the sea. I always feel better in or near water. I make a point of living in places with good access to water. I have been taking Emilia down to the docks more lately instead of stopping to feed to sheep. She likes to sit on every bench we pass and i like to stop and stare at the waves in the water. As the weather starts to turn people are starting to remove their boats from the water and retire them to their winter homes. They clean them and carefully cover them to protect them from the winters weather. We came accross many piles of barnacles disguarded and dying. But somehow still shining.

I really wish i had some rainboots. I think i take Emilia out every day there are puddles more to watch her play in them than for her to have fun.

I do not eat fish. The smell of fish makes me want to vomit. The taste of fish makes me vomit. I feel very sorry for this smoked fish head.

I find beauty in things that are falling apart. It lets me believe that there is beauty in my broken life.

I have an artist friend. I have informed him that he is to teach me how to paint.  I visit his studio sometimes just to look at the chaos. During my last visit i became infatuated with the tin of manky water and dirty brushes. Beauty can make such a mess.

Outside my bedroom door there lives 3 apple trees, a swingset, and a box for sand. Outside my bedroom door there are 3 baren apple trees, and a sandbox full of fruit.
