I love snow. I remembered to take the camera with me today when i took Emillia out to play in the snow. I took alot of photos, but with chasing her around and trying desperaly not to fall on my ass ( it was quite slippery), i didnt manage to get very many good ones. But this is my favourite shot.

So i was sitting at my desk watching horrible finnish television and looking at randomness on the internet when i noticed a bright flash outside my window. I didn’t think must of this flash at first but then it was followed by a loud cracking noise. Under normal cirumstances id just assume that it was storming outside, but… well… Its snowing. I quickly dismissed the flash and noise and told myself it must have been a plane. But then it happened a second time, and then a third. The second time there was no doubt. It was infact thunder and lightning. A thunder and lightning snow blizard! How fucking cool is that! I came here last year with the hope of freakish weather and it took a while but 1 point to you Finland.
Sataa lunta Espoossa!!!! (It’s snowing in Espoo, actually literally it says ” it is raining snow”) The first actual snow of the season. YAY!!!!
With the upcomming move back to seattle i am desperatly trying to use up my yarn stash. When i moved here i mailed a very large box of yarn ( so large in fact that customs accused me of trying to smuggle yarn in to sell). I wont allow myself to mail unused balls of it back accross the pond (ocean). So i am trying to knit or atleast get a healthy start on projects to justify returning with it. This is the latest completion. And it arrived at the rigth time. the weather is getting colder and sweaters are nwo needed to survive my daily jaunts outside with Emilia.
ignore the actual video.. big hair scary. but the song man..
